Lucknow: Amity University Lucknow Campus is set to welcome its new batch of first-year undergraduate students with a two-day orientation programme on August 10 and 11, 2026, at the university campus.
The programme has been designed to provide students and their parents with a warm introduction to the Amity University community while helping newcomers familiarise themselves with the academic and campus environment.
The orientation will provide students with an opportunity to interact with faculty members, programme leaders and mentors and understand their respective programmes, academic structure and available student support systems. The initiative is also aimed at helping students make a smooth transition into university life.
A range of engaging and informative activities has been planned as part of the programme. These include ice-breaking sessions, introductions to Programme Leaders, Faculty Mentors and Course Faculty, academic planning guidance and mentor-mentee interactions.
A key feature of the orientation will be the “Know Your Mentor” initiative, which will allow students to interact with their mentors and gain a better understanding of the guidance and support available to them throughout their academic journey.
The two-day programme is expected to help students build early connections with their peers and faculty while gaining greater clarity about academic expectations and opportunities on campus.
The university has also invited media representatives to cover the orientation programme and requested news organisations to depute reporters and photojournalists for the event.
